Forum Rules & Community Guidelines

Our community is built on knowledge sharing, meaningful discussions, and mutual respect. These rules are intended to maintain a high-quality environment where members can contribute, learn, and exchange useful information.

Quality over quantity. Contribution over post count.

By registering and participating in the forum, you agree to follow the rules outlined below.

1. General Conduct and Community Standards

1.1. All members are expected to treat others with respect. Harassment, insults, personal attacks, threats, discrimination, and deliberately provocative behavior are strictly prohibited.

1.2. Disagreements and constructive criticism are welcome, but discussions must remain respectful and focused on the subject. Personal conflicts should not interfere with technical discussions.

1.3. Content that discriminates against, insults, or belittles individuals or groups based on religion, language, race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, political views, or other personal characteristics is prohibited.

1.4. Content that violates applicable laws, national and moral values, or the forum's community standards is not permitted. Pornographic, excessively offensive, or otherwise inappropriate material is prohibited.

1.5. Content intended to insult, defame, or deliberately discredit individuals, organizations, or public institutions is prohibited. Legitimate, factual, and respectful criticism remains acceptable.

1.6. Deliberately disrupting discussions, provoking arguments, trolling, or creating unnecessary conflicts may result in disciplinary action.

1.7. Members are responsible for the content they publish, including messages, attachments, signatures, avatars, and profile information.

2. Spam, Meaningless Messages, and Low-Quality Content

2.1. Meaningless, repetitive, irrelevant, or low-effort messages are strictly prohibited. Every post should contribute something useful to the discussion.

2.2. Messages containing only expressions such as "thanks," "nice," "good work," "+1," "up," "bump," or similar statements without meaningful content are considered spam.

2.3. Members should use the forum's Thank You or reaction functionality to show appreciation instead of posting unnecessary replies.

2.4. Posting messages solely to increase post count, reputation, reactions, account privileges, or forum activity is strictly prohibited.

2.5. Repeating the same question, answer, or information across multiple threads without adding anything meaningful is considered spam.

2.6. Copying another member's reply, slightly rewording existing messages, or reposting information already available in the discussion without additional value is prohibited.

2.7. Unnecessary consecutive posts should be avoided. Members should use the edit function to update their previous messages whenever appropriate.

2.8. Posting generic comments that could apply to almost any discussion, without addressing the actual topic, is considered low-quality participation.

2.9. Automated posting, mass-generated replies, and the use of bots to artificially increase forum activity are prohibited unless explicitly authorized by forum management.

2.10. Attempting to bypass spam restrictions by using filler text, random characters, copied paragraphs, or irrelevant content is prohibited.

2.11. Short messages are not automatically considered spam. A brief but relevant and useful answer is acceptable. Post quality is determined by its contribution, not its length.

2.12. Repeated violations may result in message removal, warnings, posting restrictions, or permanent account suspension.

3. Creating New Topics

3.1. Before creating a new topic, members must use the forum's search function to check whether the subject has already been discussed.

3.2. Topics must be created in the appropriate forum sections. Moderators reserve the right to move, merge, lock, or remove misplaced topics.

3.3. Topic titles must clearly describe the subject. Generic or misleading titles such as "Help," "Question," "Problem," "Urgent," or "Please Read" should be avoided.

3.4. Excessive capitalization, misleading claims, unnecessary symbols, and attention-seeking titles are prohibited.

3.5. Topics must contain sufficient information to explain their purpose. Empty topics or topics consisting only of smileys, unexplained links, screenshots, or attachments are not permitted.

3.6. When requesting technical assistance, members should provide relevant details whenever applicable, including:

  • A clear description of the problem.
  • The software version and relevant environment.
  • Steps already taken to investigate or resolve the issue.
  • Relevant errors, logs, screenshots, or code snippets.
  • Expected behavior and actual results.

3.7. Members should demonstrate reasonable effort to understand or investigate their issue before requesting assistance.

3.8. Creating multiple topics about the same issue to attract additional attention is prohibited.

3.9. Topics created solely to generate replies, reactions, downloads, or profile activity without providing meaningful content may be removed.

4. Replies, Discussions, and Meaningful Contributions

4.1. Replies must remain relevant to the original topic and contribute meaningfully to the discussion.

4.2. Members are encouraged to provide explanations, solutions, observations, corrections, technical findings, or relevant questions rather than meaningless comments.

4.3. When providing technical assistance, explain your solution or reasoning whenever practical. Posting unexplained or potentially misleading instructions should be avoided.

4.4. Do not present assumptions, speculation, or unverified information as established facts. Clearly indicate when information has not been tested or confirmed.

4.5. Repeating answers that have already been provided is discouraged unless additional explanation, verification, or a meaningful alternative is included.

4.6. Members who successfully resolve an issue are encouraged to share the solution so others experiencing the same problem can benefit.

4.7. Constructive criticism and technical corrections are welcome. Disagreements should be supported by reasonable explanations rather than personal attacks.

4.8. Deliberately spreading false technical information, fabricated results, or misleading instructions is prohibited.

4.9. Members should respect the original topic and avoid redirecting discussions toward unrelated subjects.

5. Advertising, Self-Promotion, and External Redirection

5.1. Advertising or promoting external websites, forums, communities, platforms, or services without explicit permission from forum management is strictly prohibited.

5.2. Members are not allowed to redirect users to their own websites, communities, or any competing or alternative platforms that provide similar content, resources, or services to those available on this forum.

5.3. Direct and indirect promotion are both prohibited. This includes sharing promotional website names, domain names, invitation links, social media accounts, referral links, or instructions encouraging users to visit external platforms.

5.4. These restrictions apply regardless of whether the promoted platform belongs to the member or a third party. Promoting another person's website or community is subject to the same rules.

5.5. Using downloadable files, archives, screenshots, documents, source code, signatures, or other shared materials to advertise or redirect users to external websites or communities is strictly prohibited.

5.6. Archive passwords must not contain, reference, or promote website names, domain names, URLs, community names, or other advertising identifiers. Using archive passwords as a method of promoting competing or similar platforms is prohibited, even when no clickable link is provided.

5.7. Members must not require users to visit external websites, join communities, follow social media accounts, complete promotional activities, or register on another platform to access shared content, download links, or archive passwords.

5.8. Indirect advertising through watermarks, promotional file names, embedded messages, shortened URLs, disguised references, or similar methods is prohibited.

5.9. External links to official documentation, original research, source repositories, or other legitimate technical references may be permitted when directly relevant to the discussion and not intended as advertising or promotional redirection.

5.10. Members sharing their own projects must provide meaningful information about the project's purpose, functionality, and relevance. Project sharing must not be used as a pretext for promoting competing communities or external services.

5.11. Advertising restrictions apply to public posts, private messages, signatures, profiles, attachments, and all other areas of the forum.

5.12. Attempts to bypass advertising restrictions through indirect or disguised promotional methods may result in immediate content removal and account restrictions.

6. Hidden Content and Thanks Tags

6.1. The REPLYANDTHANKS tag must not be used. Requiring members to post a reply to access hidden content encourages meaningless messages and unnecessary forum activity.

6.2. The REPLYANDTHANKS tag will be permanently disabled in the near future. Members must stop using it in new topics and should update their existing content accordingly.

6.3. Members who wish to hide content behind a user interaction must use the THANKS tag instead. This allows other members to access hidden content without being forced to post unnecessary replies.

6.4. Existing topics containing the REPLYANDTHANKS tag should be updated to use the THANKS tag to ensure compatibility with the upcoming changes.

6.5. Creating topics or using content-hiding mechanisms to artificially increase replies, post counts, or engagement is prohibited.

6.6. Posting meaningless messages solely to unlock hidden content, access downloads, or satisfy reply requirements is considered spam.

6.7. Hidden content must comply with all forum rules, including advertising restrictions, external redirection policies, and prohibited-content guidelines.

6.8. Repeated misuse of content-hiding features or attempts to bypass these restrictions may result in content removal or disciplinary action.

7. Links, Downloads, Archives, and External Resources

7.1. All shared links and downloads must be relevant to the discussion and must not be intentionally misleading.

7.2. Malicious links, phishing pages, fraudulent downloads, credential-stealing services, and other intentionally deceptive resources are strictly prohibited.

7.3. When sharing an external resource, members should provide sufficient context explaining its purpose, contents, and relevance.

7.4. Topics consisting solely of unexplained download links or attachments may be removed.

7.5. Shared archives must not be used as a method of promoting external websites or communities. Archive passwords, file names, and accompanying instructions must comply with the advertising rules.

7.6. Members must not intentionally misrepresent the contents, functionality, safety, or purpose of shared files.

7.7. When sharing third-party resources, members must respect applicable copyright laws, licenses, and intellectual property rights.

7.8. Forum management reserves the right to remove suspicious, misleading, harmful, or policy-violating files and links.

9.2. Bumping a topic with meaningless messages such as "up," "bump," or "any update?" without additional information is considered spam.

9.3. Members should not revive old or inactive discussions unless they have relevant information, a new solution, an important correction, or an updated finding to contribute.

9.4. If an old discussion is no longer applicable due to software updates or changed circumstances, members may create a new topic with an appropriate reference to the previous discussion.

9.5. Repeatedly demanding responses, pressuring other members for assistance, or unnecessarily drawing attention to a topic is prohibited.

9.6. When a thread is closed by forum management, it must not be reopened through duplicate topics or unrelated discussions without permission.

10. Polls and Community Discussions

10.1. Polls must have a clear purpose and be relevant to the forum section in which they are created.

10.2. Members creating polls must provide an explanation of the subject and the reason for conducting the poll.

10.3. Poll options should reasonably represent the available perspectives and must not intentionally mislead participants.

10.4. The first post should clearly explain the poll creator's position or the question being evaluated.

10.5. Polls created solely to generate unnecessary activity, manipulate engagement, or provoke other members may be removed.

11. Accounts, Usernames, and Identity

12.4. Members are encouraged to remove passwords, authentication tokens, personal identifiers, and other sensitive information from logs, screenshots, and shared files before publishing them.

12.5. Attempts to obtain another member's private information through deception, impersonation, or other unauthorized methods are prohibited.

13. Commercial Activity, Cracks, and Software Distribution

13.6. Fraudulent transactions, scams, misleading commercial offers, and attempts to circumvent the forum's trading restrictions are prohibited.

13.7. Violations of commercial activity restrictions may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent bans. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate permanent suspension.

14. Moderation and Enforcement

14.1. Administrators and moderators have the authority to edit, move, merge, lock, or remove content that violates forum rules or disrupts the community.

14.2. Moderators may issue warnings, remove content, restrict posting privileges, temporarily suspend accounts, or permanently ban users depending on the severity and frequency of violations.

14.3. Repeated spam, low-quality posting, unauthorized advertising, or deliberate attempts to bypass forum restrictions may result in escalating penalties.

14.4. Serious violations, including malicious activity, harassment, impersonation, organized spam, or deliberate abuse of the community, may result in immediate account suspension without prior warning.

14.5. Forum management reserves the right to take appropriate action against harmful or disruptive behavior, even when a particular abuse method is not explicitly described in these rules.

14.6. Moderation decisions may be made without prior notice when immediate action is necessary to protect the forum or its members.

14.7. Members who believe a moderation decision was made in error may submit a respectful appeal through the designated appeal process or by contacting forum management privately.

14.8. Public harassment of moderators, repeated attempts to reopen resolved appeals, or using alternate accounts to evade disciplinary actions is prohibited.

15. Reporting Violations

15.1. Members are encouraged to report spam, inappropriate behavior, malicious links, unauthorized advertising, and other rule violations through the forum's reporting system.

15.2. Members should not start public arguments or personally attack users suspected of violating the rules. Reports should be submitted through the appropriate channels.

15.3. Reports must be submitted in good faith. Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports is prohibited.

15.4. Forum management will review reports and take appropriate action when necessary.

16.2. Members are responsible for reviewing relevant announcements and guidelines before participating in a forum section.

16.3. Ignoring or overlooking published rules and announcements does not exempt members from the consequences of violating them.

16.4. Forum management reserves the right to introduce additional restrictions or modify existing rules when necessary to maintain the quality and safety of the community.

16.5. Forum rules may be updated at any time. Changes become effective upon publication unless otherwise specified.

16.6. These rules are established for the benefit of the community. Concerns about their application should be addressed through the appropriate communication or appeal channels rather than disrupting public discussions.

17. Disclaimer and Responsibility

17.1. Information, software, scripts, and other resources shared on this forum are provided for informational and educational purposes unless otherwise specified.

17.2. Members are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, legality, reliability, and safety of information or software before using it.

17.5. Educational purposes do not justify unlawful activity, copyright infringement, or misuse of technical information.

17.6. Content that violates applicable laws, intellectual property rights, or forum policies may be removed without prior notice.

Our Community Philosophy

Quality over quantity. Contribution over activity. Knowledge over post count.

A useful answer is more valuable than dozens of meaningless replies. A well-documented solution is more valuable than a duplicate topic.

Before posting, ask yourself:

Does my message contribute something useful?
Has this information already been shared?
Is my question clear enough for others to understand?
Would someone reading this discussion in the future benefit from my contribution?

Our goal is not to encourage members to post more, but to encourage them to contribute more.

Help us build a community where knowledge is shared, meaningful discussions are encouraged, and valuable contributions are appreciated.
